Since founding Pharmaceutical Strategic Initiatives^® LLC (PSI) in 1985, Charles A. Carter
has been focusing his energies on evolving the company's vision and strategy to ensure
that PSI provides the best services and most meaningful results to its clients.  Through his
work, he has developed therapeutic focus areas of corporate expertise and concentration: cardiovascular, respiratory, bone and metabolism, oncology, pain management, and
specialty therapeutics.

As President, Dr. Carter maintains responsibility in developing PSI’s strategic underpinnings
that drive the company's calibrated service offerings of: strategic life-cycle planning including clinical and regulatory perspectives, priority comparative effectiveness and health outcomes
research, opinion leader development and management services, customized scientific
content development and communications, and market surveillance.

Dr. Carter received his BS from State University of NY at Buffalo (1981), Doctor of
Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee (1983), and an MBA from Christian
Brothers University (1994).  Dr. Carter has received several awards including the
Don L. Martinez Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research and the Phi Lambda
Sigma Leadership Award.
